Six ISSofBC employees at various levels of the organization were recognized for completing 25 years of service to the organization, receiving thunderous cheers and applause from over 200 staff gathered at the annual all-staff meeting held May 10 at the Hilton Metrotown in Burnaby.
The six — Chris Friesen, Veronica Lee, Lily Lim, Bradley McKeage, David Nguyen, and Diana Smolic — were among 84 employees honoured for their length of service to ISSofBC.
CEO Patricia Woroch, Board of Directors President Jim Tallman and past Board of Directors President Manchan Sonachansingh congratulated — in addition to the six awardees — 39 employees for completing five years of service, 24 for 10 years’ service, six for 15 years, and nine for 20 years.
The hotel ballroom erupted in bursts of loud cheers reinforced by noise-makers and other party paraphernalia from staff as colleagues’ names were called.
