Are you someone who enjoys helping others? Can you spare a few hours each week to make a meaningful impact in your community?

Empowering Seniors for a Resilient Future is a program designed to uplift immigrant seniors through engaging activities that promote healthy aging, prevent financial and cyber fraud, and help prepare for climate emergencies—all in a welcoming space that celebrates diversity and inclusion.

We’re looking for compassionate, community-minded individuals to volunteer as facilitators. If you:

  • Feel confident using computers, smartphones, or iPhones
  • Are willing to join a free facilitator training
  • Can commit around 4 hours a week for the next 3–4 months
  • Speak Arabic, Farsi/Dari, or Tigrinya (in addition to English)

…then your skills and support could help senior newcomers find the resources, confidence, and connection they need.

Help build a resilient future for our elders—one session at a time.

Let’s empower our seniors together.
