E-Connect for Temporary Foreign Workers in BC

E-Connect is a program that supports you in building skills and settling in BC. We start with a needs assessment to understand your strengths and challenges, then create a learning plan just for you. You’ll have access to online courses and get feedback from a case manager to help you make progress.

Our team can also connect you to community resources and other services based on your needs. As one participant shared, learning about conflict management styles has helped them apply new skills in their daily life.

Who Can Join?

You can join E-Connect if:

  • You are a temporary foreign worker (TFW) in BC
  • You are committed to an individualized online learning plan
  • You have adequate English skills to actively participate
  • Access to a computer device and internet.

E-Connect is a flexible online learning program. You’ll gain essential skills to succeed at work. 

Yes, the program is free for eligible participants.

Optional Subheading

You can join E-Connect if you are a temporary foreign worker (TFW) in British Columbia (BC), can follow an online learning plan, and have adequate English skills.

You’ll receive skills training, job search support, and resources to improve your communication and conflict management skills.

You will have access to community resources, referrals to employment services, and receive feedback and progress monitoring from a case manager.

Locations Available

Our E-Connect program is primarily provided online so you can access its services anywhere in BC. However, we also have a small office in Vancouver if you want in-person support.
