ISSofBC former refugee youth clients and the Multicultural Youth Circle program (MY Circle) graduates had the opportunity to see former U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama speak at an event organized by The Vancouver Board of Trade February 15.
“It was very motivational for myself and all the young ladies. The nutshell of the day was when Mrs. Obama said we should never feel despair by any situation. We should build our foundation with education and we should lead by hope,” said Negina an ISSofBC youth client attending.
ISSofBC and the youth participants would like to thank Vancity for the exciting experience to attend this sold-out event.
