We are delighted to announce the opening of a Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) Clinic for our Government-Assisted Refugee (GAR) clients at our Vancouver office, located on Victoria Drive, starting Febrero 3, 2025. The clinic is currently located at a temporary location in Richmond.
The clinic is initially ONLY for GARs who will be referred to the clinic by our Resettlement Assistance Program (RAP) team. The clinic will offer initial post-arrival health assessments, including follow-ups and vaccinations, to ensure that GARs receive the necessary medical care upon arrival in Canada.
The clinic will be open Lunes to Viernes, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, and will have its telephone number. It will also have a Medical Office Assistant (MOA) who will share the front desk with Angie and Katie, our ISSofBC service assistants.
Además del MOA, la Clínica de Salud del VCH contará con enfermeros y médicos.

Ana Fernandes, the manager of Northeast and Primary Care Centre, will be the Operations Manager of the Care for Newcomers Clinic.
