ISSofBC honoured over 120 active Coquitlam volunteers during a summer picnic July 25 at Lafarge Lake Park.
Attendees were offered a Syrian cuisine lunch, received certificates for their dedication to ISSofBC, and enjoyed the summer afternoon in the park along with family, staff and City of Coquitlam Councillor Terry O’Neill.
ISSofBC volunteers in Coquitlam supported numerous positions such as settlement mentors, special events coordinators, classroom assistants and more.
