Hello everyone, big and small, at ISSofBC! Thank you very much for inviting me to your organization this week. I had a jolly good time meeting and giving presents to over 25 happy and excited children in the ELSA Child Care Centre in Vancouver. The annual Christmas party for both morning and afternoon parents and children was a huge success with over 50 people attending.
From the moment I walked in the room with people cheering and applauding my arrival, I knew ISSofBC was full of wonderful people. Some children walked right up to me with arms wide open. How adorable! Needless to say, there were lots of hugs and Christmas wishes exchanged. The children and Child Care staff also sang “Here Comes Santa” for me. That was so sweet and made this old man’s day!
Once again, I was very honoured to have the opportunity to meet the amazing staff, students and children at ISSofBC. It was a great experience and I can’t wait to come back again next year. Please don’t forget the milk and cookies for Santa next time!
Lastly, I would like to wish everyone at ISSofBC a wonderful holiday. Happy 2014!
