ISSofBC participates in Squamish Children’s Health Fair

ISSofBC staff and students in Squamish highlighted free English classes available to newcomers in the Sea to Sky Corridor and Sunshine Coast to over 50 families and exhibitors during the 17th annual Children’s Health Fair on Friday, May 23.

In addition, staff raised awareness of the free childcare available in the daytime for children (2 ½ to 5 years old) of students attending onsite classes at ISSofBC Squamish.

Visitors to the booth also signed up for the prize draw in which Kaos Kids, a local business, generously donated a Playmobil 123 Park Playground.

The Children’s Health Fair, at Brennan Park Recreation Centre, focuses on providing health, education, community resources and activities geared towards children.

Tara Ramsey, Assistant Manager and Registration Coordinator at ISSofBC Squamish, would like to give a big thank you to the students and staff for donating their time and being part of this fun community event.
