Patricia Woroch, ISSofBC CEO, today received the “Legend” award from the Community Social Services Employers’ Association of BC (CSSEA) in ceremonies held in downtown Vancouver.
She was among four awardees of varying lengths of service honoured for their “outstanding contributions to the social services sector” at CSSEA’s 5th annual BC Community Social Services Awards of Excellence luncheon.
In receiving the award on behalf of Patricia who’s currently abroad, ISSofBC Communications Division Manager Lily Lim said, “Despite her long career as an executive — including over 20 years as ISSofBC’s CEO — Patricia is a social worker at heart with a tremendous passion for social services….the Legend award is truly an incredible recognition of her life’s work.”
