Eligibility requirements
Applicants must meet all the following criteria:
- Have accessed ISSofBC services or participated in an ISSofBC program within the 3 years preceding the application deadline.
- Be a British Columbia resident with protected person/convention refugee, or Permanent Resident (PR) status.
- Be enrolled in or accepted to a post-secondary institution in British Columbia.
- Demonstrate financial need for assistance with tuition costs.
Application process and timeline
- Applications Open: June 8, 2026
- Application Deadline: July 8, 2026
- Application Review and Selection: July 8 – August 10, 2026
- Recipients Notified: August 11, 2026
- Bursary Awards Ceremony: Late August (date to be confirmed)
