Good news! ISSofBC has two programs that may help you find work faster and get the guidance you need to settle in BC.

Our Career Services provide holistic employment support, including job search coaching, resume and interview workshops, understanding the local labour market, and employer connections. Each program has its own eligibility requirements, so which one is the best fit for you?

BC NSP

This combined program offers settlement services, English practice, and employment support all in one place. You’ll receive personalized orientation, attend workshops and networking events, and join English conversation circles to build your confidence and skills.

“When I first arrived in Vancouver, I honestly felt very lost. I didn’t know much about the job market here or which direction to take. Fortunately, I joined the BC NSP employment program at ISSofBC. I was able to find a job within just three months, which was much faster than I had expected.”

Skills Hub

If you face multiple barriers, such as limited English proficiency, basic employment skills, or limited recent Canadian work experience, Skills Hub can help. This cohort-based program means you join a group of newcomers and follow a structured schedule. You’ll get one-on-one career counselling, job readiness workshops, skills training, and connections with local employers.
