Eligibility
  • Naturalized Canadian Citizen or Permanent resident (within the last 5 years) -or- Protected Persons with a Work Permit valid for one year (from the date joining the program)
  • Live in British Columbia -Metro Vancouver, Greater Victoria, Okanagan, the Kootenays, and Prince George regions
  • Newcomers seeking entry-level work within the Tourism & Hospitality sector; newcomers that worked in the field and were laid off due to COVID; and Newcomers already working in the industry and may require some re-skilling and/or upskilling to improve and retain the job, or for advancement purposes
  • English Level - Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 5
