If you’re an internationally trained professional seeking to find work in Canada, you may need to complete the foreign credential recognition process. Foreign Credential Recognition (FCR) is the process of verifying an individual’s foreign credentials to ensure they meet the standards established in Canada.

You can join if you:
  • are a Permanent Resident in BC, Canadian citizen or Persons granted refugee status in Canada and legally permitted to work in Canada
  • have obtained your credentials outside of Canada
  • are seeking to have your foreign credentials recognized and/or interested in an alternative career and training activities

    • Evaluation of credentials
    • Short-term training
    • Examination fees
    • Membership fees

    • Travel expenses
  • Develop an individualized action plan to help you succeed in your career goals
  • Job search workshops and individualized sessions to gain job search tools and strategies
  • Follow up support with job search
  • Connections to employers and mentors
