Start a Business

Our program helps newcomers with their business ideas. Spark works with you to develop and strengthen your business ideas and takes you one step closer to launching your business.

Individuals over four months; will take part in three phases that lead to having a business idea that is ready to be developed into a business. The three phases are research, refining, and realizing. During the four months, participants will have access to mentors and be able to build connections and skills that will help them in their future success.

Eligibility

                                    
                                    Permanent Resident, Refugee (Government-Assisted and Privately Sponsored, not accepting refugee claimants) or Protected Person
Employed, unemployed or under-employed

                                    
                                    BC Resident
Ukrainians with a CUAET visa
Live-in Caregiver or Temporary Foreign Worker with approval in principle.

                                    
                                    Individual who has been selected to become a Permanent Resident and who has been informed by a letter from IRCC.
