Our Education Bursary Awards are now open for students to apply to access post-secondary education and build successful futures in Canada.

Deadline: July 5, 2026.

At ISSofBC (Immigrant Services Society of BC), we are committed to supporting newcomers as they establish their lives in Canada. Our bursary program provides financial assistance to newcomer students pursuing post-secondary education, helping them overcome barriers, achieve their goals, and contribute to their communities.

Empowering newcomers through education

Education is a key pathway to long-term success for newcomers. Through the ISSofBC Education Bursary Awards, students receive critical support to continue their studies and pursue meaningful careers in Canada.

“This bursary is more than financial support—it’s a powerful reminder that I belong, that my journey matters, and that people truly believe in my future. That belief fuels my determination and inspires me to lift others along the way. Your support creates impact far beyond one person.”
— Hyejin G., 2025 Bursary Award Recipient
