The office is also an English Language Assessment Centre to allow you to test your English level for visa requirements.

Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC)
Free program that supports you to learn the English language, no matter your level. This training supports you to integrate and navigate daily life in British Columbia.

Available at several locations including Surrey, Coquitlam and Vancouver
Licensed preschool programs for children aged 30 months to 5 years
Parents can focus on studies while children learn English and social skills

Please note, our services are primarily available in English, French, Spanish, and Tagalog.

If you have more questions, please read below.
If you are a permanent resident or naturalized Canadian citizen living around Squamish, the Sunshine Coast, or along the Sea-to-Sky Highway and are 17 years or older, you are eligible for our English language classes in Squamish.
If you hold a work permit (for at least one year) and intend to live in the region, you are also eligible to join our classes.
To register, you must first complete a language assessment at the Squamish assessment centre.
People living in Squamish, Sea to Sky, and Sunshine Coast can complete the Language Assessment online or in-person.
