SEATS OPEN for November 14 talk on Immigration

Don’t miss the opportunity to listen to Shachi Kurl, Executive Director of the Angus Reid Institute, tackle the subject “I Know What You Think About Immigration!” at the ISSofBC Welcome Centre November 14, from 5:30-7:30pm.

Reserve your seats by registering online at http://issbc.org/closerlook. A Q&A session and light refreshments will follow Kurl’s remarks.

Kurl’s talk is part of ISSofBC’s 2019 A CLOSER LOOK speaker series that examines the broad issue, “Does Immigration Matter?” Vancouver Sun columnist Douglas Todd launched the series in September followed by Catherine Dauvergne, Dean of the Peter A. Allard School of Law at UBC, in October.

Kurl can be found offering analysis on CBC’s “At Issue”—Canada’s most-watched political panel—in the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, the Globe and Mail, and on the editorial pages of the Ottawa Citizen, among other places.

At the Angus Reid Institute—Canada’s non-profit foundation committed to independent research—she works with public opinion data to further public knowledge and enhance the national understanding of issues that matter to Canada and the world.
