Over 200 jobseekers attended the ISSofBC Hiring Fair Tuesday, connecting with employers from various industries such as IT/Telecommunications, Healthcare, Customer Service, Office Administration, Retail, Manufacturing, Sales, Food Production, and F&B Management.
Job-seeking clients from ISSofBC and other immigrant-serving organizations such as MOSAIC and SUCCESS, as well as walk-in job searchers, connected with recruiters, discovered new job opportunities and participated in mini on-site interviews. A number of jobseekers were even hired on the spot or invited for second interviews in the coming weeks.
Featured partner employers included Shaw Communications, LUSH Handmade Cosmetics, AppleOne, Pizza Hut, Hard Rock Cafe, Bento Sushi, JW Research, Hospital Transfers, and TJX Canada (Winners/HomeSense/Marshalls).
