National Day for Truth & Reconciliation Day Trip

September 30 @ 1:00 pm 4:00 pm

Want to Learn, Explore & Celebrate Community Together?

Bring your family and join us for a family-fun community trip to Queen’s Park in New Westminster in observance of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. We’ll go to the event together and have an opportunity to learn more about Indigenous history and culture, listen to guest speakers, and take part in meaningful community activities.
The event will include guest speakers, drumming and dancing, a teaching Pow Wow, a ceremony, food, and community vendors. It’s a welcoming opportunity for newcomers and families to learn, reflect, and connect with the local community.

🧡 Let’s Go Together!
We will meet at ISSofBC New Westminster and walk to Queen’s Park South Fields together. Families are welcome to join us!

⚠️ Registration is strictly required. Advance registration is necessary to arrange the support needed.
