Managing Stress and Difficult Emotions

Event Series (See All)

November 20 @ 10:30 am – 12:00 pm

Feeling Stressed or Overwhelmed? Learn How to Manage Difficult Emotions!

Do you sometimes find it difficult to manage stress, understand your emotions, or communicate how you feel? Join us for a free and informative workshop with EmotionsBC to learn practical ways to manage difficult emotions, strengthen emotional regulation, and develop healthy coping strategies.

During this session, you will explore practical tools for managing stress, expressing your feelings, improving communication, and navigating challenging situations. You will also learn how to support yourself or a family member experiencing mental-health challenges and discover the programs and resources available through EmotionsBC.

The workshop will also introduce you to EmotionsBC’s Essential Skills program, which focuses on building communication and emotional-regulation skills to help you develop healthier relationships and manage everyday challenges with greater confidence.

Whether you want to better understand your emotions, improve your coping skills, or learn how to support someone close to you, this session is a great opportunity to learn and connect!

This session will be offered in a hybrid format, so you can attend either online via MS Teams or in person at our ISSofBC New Westminster office. The in-person address is provided below.
