November 13 @ 10:30 am – 12:00 pm

Did You Know Your Local Pharmacist Can Do More Than Fill Prescriptions?
Your local pharmacy can be an important part of your healthcare journey in British Columbia! But do you know what services pharmacists can provide and how they can support you and your family?
Join us for an informative and interactive workshop featuring a Registered Pharmacist and Director of Pharmacy Operations. Learn about the different services available at your local pharmacy, including prescription services and medication management, blood pressure checks and monitoring, diabetes support and guidance, vaccinations and eligible vitamin injections, medication reviews, minor ailment assessments and treatment options, and general health and wellness advice.
Discover how your local pharmacist can help you manage your health, understand your medications, and access healthcare services in BC. Whether you’re new to Canada or simply looking to better understand the healthcare services available to you, this session will help you feel more informed and confident.
This session will be offered in a hybrid format, so you can attend either online via MS Teams or in person at our ISSofBC New Westminster office. The in-person address is provided below.
