You can join if you are:
  • Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Protected Person (eligible to work in Canada)
  • Unemployed
  • Non-EI-eligible
  • Under-employed and lacking skills
  • 18 years or older
  • Able to commit to five (5) weeks of full-time classes

Skills & Supports for Job Success provides group workshops and one-on-one sessions:

  • Individual planning — assessment of your strength, skills and interests; and job targeting
  • Career portfolio development
  • Interview skills training
  • Supported job search — coaching and job leads
  • Work experience placements and wage subsidies
  • Short-term certificate training
  • Weekly touchback sessions
  • Follow up appointments for future job prospect
