ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Place products in designated locations;

* Retrieval of products to fill orders for customers quickly and efficiently;

* Maintain, identify and correct product bin locations;

* Actively practice good housekeeping in all areas of contact in all departments;

* Communicate to his/her supervisor when Standard Operating Procedures cannot be executed; Responsible to acquire the skills and abilities through cross-training and internal promotion for a variety of Parts Handling roles including but not limited to: -Shipping, Receiving, Customer Returns, Product Shelving, Order Processing, Inventory Management (Cycle Counts)

REQUIREMENTS:

* High School diploma or equivalent;

* Previous work experience in a similar role is a definitive asset;

* Must be in good physical condition (ability to stand, walk, sit and handle parts);

* Must be capable of lift parts up to 50 pounds (23kg) and repeatedly bend or stoop to ground level;

* Ability to work with rolling equipment (pallet jacks, trolleys, carts);

* Must be functionally literate (able to read, write and speak English fluently);

* Possess ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals;

* Computer literacy (mandatory)

* Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) is an asset;

* Available on occasion to work outside regular business hours; Organized and self-disciplined; Task-oriented;

* Diplomatic and tactful in communication;

* Maintain spirit of cooperation with co-workers.

MORE INFORMATION

Currently, the shifts can start from 8:00 am to 10:00 am which includes two 15-minute paid breaks and one 30-minute unpaid lunch break for a total of 8 hours pay. Shifts may vary depending on business requirements. Our busiest days are Monday and Tuesday and where we currently need to focus the majority of our staff, however, you will be able to request additional shifts up to 40 hours with the possibility of overtime shifts as required by the business. Part-Time Employees have the option to work 40 hours per week but are not guaranteed those hours. It is our desire to hire Employees willing to work 32 to 40 hours per week to ensure we have a strong workforce from Monday through Friday, possibly Saturday, if required.
