Youth Peer Leaders Training

  • Free 8 weeklong training for newcomer youth ages 14-24
  • Participants will have a chance to connect with community partners and resources
  • Gain 30 + volunteer hours
  • Topics of training will include mental wellness, anti-oppression, post-secondary, leadership , Truth & Reconciliation and more
  • Upon graduation the participants will run peer support groups for newly arrived immigrant/refugee youth, and build mentor/mentee relationships

Time: 10:00am-1:00pm

Dates: Saturdays:December 10th 17th  January 7th ,14th, 21th 28th February 4th & 11th
