You can get your taxes prepared for free if you meet the following:

  • Low income  (see attached poster)
  • A simple tax situation
  • Can come to the tax clinic in person  (couple needs to come together)
  • Have the documents you need

Please bring

  • your SIN card
  • all necessary documentation (ie. T4, T5, or T5007 slips for 2019, medical receipts, tuition or school receipts <T2202>, child care expenses, donation receipts)
  • immigration papers
  • if possible, a copy of the previous year’s tax return Notice of Assessment

Please bring your own interpreter or let us know beforehand if you need language support.

Sorry,we cannot help…  

  • Self-employed or have employment expenses
  • Rental income
  • Interest income over $1,000
  • Capital gains or losses
  • Foreign property (T1135)
  • Filled for bankruptcy
  • Deceased persons
