Say what you want clearly but diplomatically. That’s the main skill behind Assertive Communication at Work (Canadian style.) This may be a new personal skill for many workers who come from cultures where being humble and deferential is expected as part of their daily work. This module will talk about why building assertiveness skills is essential for working in Canada.

Course is offered weekly at no cost to participants. August 2019 to March 2020.

For Temporary Foreign Workers and Caregivers who have:

  • Commitment to engage in an individualized online learning plan
  • Adequate English language skills(preferably CLB 6) to participate actively in the program
  • Access to a computer device and internet
