ISSofBC Tri-Cities and SHARE Open House

Richmond_open_big_2

ISSofBC and SHARE Family and Community Services invite you to join us at an Open House in celebration of our new location in Coquitlam on Wednesday, May 29 beginning at 2:30pm.

In addition to our long-established Tri-Cities services, including a wide variety of settlement, language and employment programming, ISSofBC launched the Moving Ahead Program in October of 2012 which provides support to immigrant and refugee youth, individuals and families experiencing complex barriers to their settlement journey.

In addition, the open house will highlight the New Beginnings Tri-Cities Early Years Refugee Program coordinated by SHARE Family and Community Services. This program offers parent-and-toddler groups, parenting education, peer-support groups and community outing, among other services. New Beginnings is designed for refugee families with children from birth through age five.

The open house program, starting at 3:15pm, will include site information and an opportunity to meet staff from ISSofBC’s Tri-Cities and New Beginnings. This event will take place at suites #200 and #204 – 504 Cottonwood Avenue in Coquitlam. There is free parking available underground and the site is within a short bus ride from the Lougheed Town Centre Skytrain Station, Millennium Line.
