Work continues with over 100 trades people onsite daily


Over 100 construction workers are on site at ISSofBC’s Welcome Centre daily working on different floors both interior and exterior of the building.

Sanitation and water are now hooked up. Over the past week plumbing fixtures have begun to be installed on the lower floors.

Ceramic floor and wall tiling is now complete on levels 1-3. Resilient flooring is now complete.

Final painting is underway on level 1. Work is nearing completion on the installation of t-bar ceiling tiles and lighting on levels 1-3.

Millwork installation is well underway and stone countertops are next up starting in the next 2 weeks on the residential floors. Carpet for level 6 is scheduled for mid April.

The two elevators have now been installed with testing scheduled over the next week.

We are now two weeks behind schedule with a current hand over date of around May 16.
