Up, Up, and Away

Work is currently underway on level 3 on the northeast corner – a future classroom in the making. Level 3 is also the future location of eight classrooms for adult English language learners as well as a child minding centre for 14 children and administrative offices.

Every slab (or floor) has now been divided into two phases on a 12 day concrete pouring schedule. Concrete pours are scheduled for the 9th and 11th day on each floor with an estimated completion date of the level 6 north facing building (weather dependent) on July 15.

Target dates in May include completion of level 3 on May 12 followed by level 4 on May 29.

The project is currently 26 days behind schedule but everyone on site remain confident about making up some or most of that time.
