The preparation work by the project development team of Henriquez Partners Architects for the tender has been enormous but it was finally released today to five potential contractors who were short-listed in an earlier request for qualification process undertaken last fall. We can catch our breath now as these contractors undertake their analysis and price estimation of what it will cost to build our new facility.
About the Author: Chris Friesen has been the ISSofBC Director of Settlement Services for over twenty years. He is currently leading the multi-year initiative to design and build a Metro Vancouver Regional Service Centre for Refugees.
