Mayor Robertson agrees to participate in our ground breaking ceremony – June 20, 2014

We received word today that Mayor Robertson as well as other invited dignitaries including representatives from the Coast Salish Territory will help us celebrate the launch of our construction phase in a ground breaking ceremony scheduled for Friday, June 20. Why June 20 you say… June 20 coincides with the UN designated World Refugee Day – only appropriate we thought. Plans are underway to have 150+ people join us at 10am at 2610 Victoria Drive as we pause to recognize World Refugee Day and equally important, start construction of this unique, one of a kind facility for refugees. Off to buy gold spray paint for those shovels!!
